Dorner Inc Introduce
Dorner Inc is a well-established and highly specialized contractor operating out of Luxemburg, Wisconsin, serving Kewaunee County and the surrounding areas with a unique blend of services that go far beyond standard residential plumbing. While they are listed as a Plumber, their primary focus, as demonstrated by public project listings, is on significant infrastructure and construction work, specializing particularly in Underground Utilities and Earthwork. This duality makes Dorner Inc a crucial resource in the Wisconsin construction and development landscape, as they manage the complex, below-ground systems essential for both municipal projects and new private developments.
Their expertise centers on the critical infrastructure that brings water, handles wastewater, and distributes various utilities. This includes extensive experience in Sanitary Utility Sewerage, Storm Utility Drainage Piping, and Site Water Utility Distribution Piping. They are the team responsible for laying the foundation of community development, ensuring that new roads, subdivisions, and commercial projects have the necessary functional backbone. For Wisconsin residents and developers, knowing a local company is equipped to handle these massive, complex undertakings provides peace of mind and simplifies project logistics.
The nature of their work—large-scale construction and utility installation—inherently involves working closely with property owners and local ordinances. Customer feedback reflects this challenging environment. For instance, one homeowner expressed profound gratitude for Dorner's crew, who were working on a subdivision near their home. This resident praised the team’s respect for their property and noted the crew "went above and beyond" after learning the family had a new baby, highlighting a focus on community and personal consideration amid major construction. This level of professional courtesy can significantly alleviate the stress associated with lengthy construction projects in residential areas.
However, the demands of large-scale civil work often lead to friction, which is also reflected in the customer feedback. Another review highlights serious concerns regarding work start times, specifically mentioning that the crew began work before 7:00 AM, which the customer claims is "NOT allowed in our county," alongside frustration over access to their home being blocked. This illustrates the inherent tension between the necessary logistics of large construction projects—where timelines and efficiency are key—and the impact on daily life for nearby residents. Customers considering Dorner Inc should be mindful that, as a major utility and earthwork contractor, their projects can be substantial and may require proactive communication regarding schedules and local ordinance compliance to ensure minimal disruption to their neighborhood.
Ultimately, Dorner Inc's core competency lies in delivering vital, large-format utility and earthwork services. Their role as a comprehensive underground utility contractor solidifies their importance in the ongoing development and maintenance of Wisconsin’s essential public and private infrastructure, complemented by their foundational services in general plumbing repair and specialized septic system design.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dorner was hired for a subdivision project by our home, and the crew was great. The crew was always respectful of our property that aligns with the new street going in and went above and beyond when they found out we have a baby in the house, under 6 months at the time they were by us. As homeowners that have already dealt with other massive construction in the last few years we are so grateful Dorner was chosen for this project.
July 11 · Rosetta StammThey are the worst, no respect they start work before 7am which is NOT allowed in our county. Couldn't actually leave our house like we were told we would be able to. We have jobs and can't get to them. Definitely will be telling people to never consider them Ever.
July 07 · Jennifer CharlesDorner is currently working on the Prospect Ave Street project in Appleton. I live on Prospect, the crew has been nothing but respectful and kind. Offering to carry items for me when I've had to park on side streets due to the construction. The men haven't made me uncomfortable, they haven't been sexist or disrespectful in that way, which I'm mentioning, because I have had that issue from other construction companies when I hired ppl to work on our house.
April 29 · T HesseJust want to say that, our street was under construction all summer and to let Dorner know that their crews are a bunch of great guys. They were polite, kind and very respectful. They are hard working and safe working crew. They also kept the work site in very orderly condition during working hours as well as after hours. It is all but done now and looks great. Thank you ! Please let your men know that they did a great job and made it a lot less painful than some companies would have. Thank you again. Harry@Lorraine Hartmann. 1421 Maricopa Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904
