I would NEVER recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. They are 3x the price of any other plumber, left sewage in my crawlspace and smeared fecal matter all over the walls, and then ignored all my calls and emails (full story below).I called them initially because I had a new washing machine installed at my new house, and the new washing machine was causing water to leak out of a pipe in the wall that had been prepped for a utility sink. They came out, and quickly said I had a clog that needed to be jetted. So they did that, but the water continued to come out of that pipe when running the washing machine. Then they went into the crawlspace and said that there was a pipe that went from 2 inches, down to 1.5 inches, and back to 2, which was reducing water flow and causing the issue, so they replaced the pipe, and the water stopped overflowing when we ran the washing machine. Great.Soon after, we started to notice a bad smell in the crawlspace, which progressively got worse and ended up stinking up the whole house. I had another plumber go down into the crawlspace for something else, and they found that there was SEWAGE puddled in the crawlspace with FECAL MATTER smeared all over the walls, right next to the pipe they replaced in the crawlspace. The new plumber saw that they had created a hole with their jetter based on the size of the whole and the fact that it was a new break. (Also, we had only lived in the house for 6 months and had pictures from our inspection showing no leak, no holes in pipes, and no sewage in the crawlspace.)This smell had been in my house for 6 weeks by this time. I called Mr. Rooter and the manager came out, and rudely said that they could give me another quote to fix the sewage leak. I was shaking with anger… they created this leak, smeared crap on the walls, and then wanted to give me another quote. We told them to leave, and later that evening the manager said the owner cared about customer service and wanted to fix the issue. They did have Innovative Restorations come out and clean up the sewage and fecal matter, which was probably the best part of my whole interaction with them. But they refused to give a refund even though we had been breathing in this unhealthy stuff for 6 weeks, and refused to get our air ducts cleaned even though our air conditioner was right next to the sewage which prevented us from running our air when it was 87 degrees outside because the smell in the house would get exponentially worse.So, a week after informing them of the sewage, they came to fix the broken pipe, which they replaced. They never asked me to run my washer, or flush a toilet, or anything to make sure that there was no leak. Well, less than 24 hours later, I run my washing machine and it’s leaking AGAIN! That was the whole reason I called them in the first place! I went down to the crawlspace just to make sure everything was okay, but sure enough there was more water getting back down in the crawlspace! So not only was the original issue not taken care of, they created a new issue for us.I tried to contact the manager, I emailed the owner, and I called the office who said they were going to have someone come out between 12-2, who never came (and multiple phone calls later asking why no one came, I never got an answer). NO ONE FROM THE OFFICE EVER REACHED BACK OUT. So, after paying them $1,500, I had to call another plumber to fix their mess, and pay to have my air ducts cleaned. I spent so much more money that I should have on this, and they just completely ignored me when their work didn’t hold up, even though it is suppose to be guaranteed.

My home water supply pressure regulator valve failed. Within 2 hours of calling Mr. Rooter, they were at my home. Free estimate, options explained, a reasonable price. Regulator valve replaced with one that has a pressure indicator on it to monitor home water pressure. I opted to replace a plastic isolation valve and also the relief valve on my hot water heater which was leaking. 30% discount on the extra work.Rustin did the work professionally and explained thoroughly the work he performed.
