Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair Introduce
For homeowners and businesses across Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding Twin Cities suburbs, issues with underground utilities like main sewer and water lines can be a source of significant stress. The traditional “dig and replace” method often involves extensive excavation, landscape damage, and a drawn-out, costly process. Fortunately, local experts like Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair are leading the way with advanced, less-disruptive solutions.
Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair specializes in a comprehensive range of water and sewer line services, with a distinct focus on modern, trenchless technology. Founded in 2002 as an owner-operated family business, the company has built a reputation in the Minneapolis area for quality, professionalism, and service, bringing the latest in state-of-the-art equipment and experience to every job. They are dedicated to accurately diagnosing problems and recommending the most efficient, cost-effective, and permanent solutions to meet the specific needs of their Minnesota customers.
This dedication to innovative repair methods, paired with a commitment to customer service, positions Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair as a highly reliable resource for resolving complex utility issues quickly and cleanly. Their extensive service list goes beyond basic plumbing to cover the deep infrastructure that keeps a property functional, from clearing clogged pipes to full system installations.
A key area of their expertise is in trenchless sewer line repair, utilizing Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining technology. This method avoids the hassle of traditional excavation by creating a new, seamless pipe within the old one. The process is not only less invasive but also results in a high-performance repair that is often a more permanent solution. For Minnesota properties, minimizing disruption to lawns and landscaping, especially after a long winter, is a major advantage.
Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair is primarily focused on serving the Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the entire Twin Cities Metro area. This local focus ensures that their team is intimately familiar with the region's common sewer and water line challenges, including old infrastructure and issues arising from Minnesota's climate, like root intrusion and ground shifting.
While they service the wider Twin Cities area, their listed office and operational base provides a physical touchpoint for their business operations and equipment. This accessibility and local knowledge mean faster response times and a deeper understanding of the municipal codes and specific site considerations unique to the Minneapolis and St. Paul regions.

Choosing a contractor for major sewer or water line issues is a critical decision for any Minnesota property owner. Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair offers a compelling combination of advanced technology, extensive service range, and proven customer satisfaction.
Their specialty in trenchless solutions is arguably the most significant advantage. In an older city like Minneapolis, where many homes feature aged sewer pipes susceptible to cracking and root intrusion, CIPP pipe relining can save thousands in landscaping restoration costs and weeks of disruption. A customer testimonial highlighted this benefit, noting the cost of the trenchless re-lining was “less than half of the bid proposed by the plumbing company that rotored our roots last fall,” emphasizing the financial savings of this modern approach.
Furthermore, the business operates with a transparent and ethical philosophy. They promise to give customers all the necessary information and options to make the best decision for their investment, avoiding the practice of "selling homeowners services they don't need," a common concern in the industry. This commitment to honesty and integrity, likely rooted in their veteran-owned status and family-business heritage, provides a level of trust that is invaluable when dealing with complex, hidden utility problems.
Whether you are facing a slow drain, suspect a major water main leak, or need a full septic system installed, Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair provides a professional, highly skilled team ready to deliver a permanent and minimally invasive solution. Their full-service capabilities, from camera inspections to trenchless installation and excavation, ensure continuity and expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle, making them a smart and reliable choice for utility and sewer repair in the Twin Cities area.

Metro Earthworks & Sewer Repair Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Metro Earthworks repaired a failing storm drain and pipe connection on my property I just bought and overall experience was great. Was quicker for response with the bid than other companies I reached out for. Communication was great for repair process even with me being out of town. Would use again.
June 03 · Peter KueflerMetro Earthworks did an incredible job re-lining the main sewer line in my 100-year-plus old home. The original sewer line had some cracks but no breaks, making trench-less re-lining a viable option. Their bid and work plan was the best out of four companies contacted. Corey and Derrick handled the project with expert care; plus they're just super nice guys! Happily recommend their services, and I am so glad to have this task done and checked off my list!
September 20 · Barbara EconomonCorey and the team were great to work with. Very thorough, took the time to explain our options in detail and make sure I understood the outcomes of each option. During our repair there were some curveballs that came up related to where our water line was. Corey kept me up to date as we changed the plan in real time and was very fair with pricing as we had to split the project into two parts due to our water line location preventing the lining of part of the sewer. I would 100% recommend Metro Earthworks to others and they were one of the most reasonable priced companies that do both repair and lining of sewer lines.
April 11 · Tyler FritzeMetro’s team came very quickly in an emergency and did a great job of explaining our options. They also pulled together the necessary utilities and inspectors so we were up and running quickly. Great to work with! Highly recommend.
May 24 · Patrick KriskeNever get your sewer job before getting an estimate from Metro Earthworks. You will be amazed how much money you can save. Corey and his partner cleaned my main sewer line connected to the city line. They installed a liner on the existing clay line, which still was in good shape, to make sure that I will not have any problems other than cleaning every few years. I paid only 2/3 of what other companies quoted me.
