What is Worth Choosing
For residents of Killen and surrounding North Alabama communities, choosing a contractor for complex projects like septic system installation or extensive pipe replacement demands careful consideration. What is unequivocally worth choosing with Allen Plumbing & Piping LLC is the foundation of multiple state licenses—Master Plumber, Master Gas Fitter, and Licensed Septic Installer. This level of comprehensive licensing means the team is legally qualified and technically prepared to handle intricate, multi-faceted projects that involve both underground piping and site preparation. Their ability to manage the entire process, from initial land clearing and excavation to final pipe installation and septic hook-up, removes the headache of coordinating multiple contractors. While scheduling and communication are key aspects to discuss upfront for any major project, their core value proposition lies in the breadth of their licensed services: a plumber who can install a toilet, repair a water heater, and also install the entire septic system it drains into, all with local expertise and the necessary state credentials.

Allen Plumbing & Piping LLC Reviews
Worst experience I’ve ever encountered with a contractor. I asked for a quote for a new septic system, and he quoted me at $6,000–Never wrote a contract. He was supposed to show up on a Wednesday to start, but he was a no call/no show. Zero communication. I told my oldest son that if he didn’t show up the next day I’d tell him to pack up his materials and leave. He showed up later Thursday afternoon and just started digging. Red flag. He never told me he was there or what his plan was; he just started working. He left early without touching base with me. No text. Nothing. The next day he showed up and started digging that morning. I went outside to speak with him to figure out what the plan was. He said he’d have the septic system hooked up so we could at least flush toilets. Wrong. He left early that day and said he’d be back the next day to set the tank. I had to pack my children up to go to a hotel that night because Brock didn’t finish what he said he would do. Long, long story, but what should have taken a day and a half ended up taking 8 days. He blames it on the rain, but that was not why he didn’t complete the job in a decent amount of time. He gives excuses for everything, zero personal accountability. I even fired him mid-week because he dug up the wrong side of my yard. He was trying to lay septic line five feet below the yard??? Brock assured me he’d “make it right” if I’d give him another chance. Against my better judgement, I allowed him to continue with the agreement that he’d finish this job in two days. He tried to tell me there was no way, but I think seven days is enough! Thankfully, he completely the job after he hit a gas line that he didn’t know was there. He denies that it was a problem because it was an old personal line. He sure was panicking when he dug it up. I had to call the gas company to inspect it. Then he hit my internet line that was on the side of the house he should never have dug up. He wouldn’t have hit it if he had done his job correctly. Somehow the system ended up passing inspection. Brock decided to just show up without communication with top soil and spread it all over the yard. There’s a huge hump where the dump truck put it, and the septic system isn’t even fully covered. Once he was done moving dirt, Brock came to the door and told me that I owed him $7,000 because he had to get top soil. I told him absolutely not. Zero communication. No contract. So, I’m just supposed to believe that this extra $1,000 was a legit charge? I told him that I asked for a quote, and he argued that it was an estimate, not a quote. Then he dug his heels in and told me he wasn’t leaving until he got his $7,000. I told him I’d give him the $6,000 that he quoted me, minus my expenses. We had to get a hotel room twice, which he claims was my choice. He hit my wooden fence with his tractor and busted a board. He made my children and me move my planters because he dug up the wrong side of my yard. They never should have been moved! He hit one with the tractor, and I lost soil by moving the dirt. He broke the corner of my driveway with his equipment. He left a huge mess, and he then upped his charges. I debated whether to post this, but I am livid. Brock is a pompous jerk, and he’s mean to his workers. My children heard him speak ugly to his workers, and it upset them. I tried speaking with Brock about the things the engineer had told me when he was here, but he blew me off. Had he listened he would have known not to dig in the wrong side of my yard. I could share so much more. Just be careful with this guy if you hire him. He’s shady as heck and tried to take advance of me. He knows I’m a widow without a husband, and I know for a fact that he wouldn’t have pulled his little stunts that he did had my husband been here. For the record, I told Brock never to show up on my property again or I’d call law enforcement. That’s how awful he was. THEN to top it off, he posted a video of his work on his Facebook page here with my name mentioned as well as my address. I’m livid. Watch this guy.
May 29 · M KCalled on Saturday 8/6 a guy answered the phone, once I asked if this was a Plumming service he said yeah, I started to explain my pipe is leaking out into my yard. Before I was able to finish explaining the guy cut me off rudely and told me he don’t work on the weekends, I explain I looked up on google and it didn’t show he was closed on the weekends. I do not recommend these people, not professional at all. I rather give my money to someone else with these kind of services you people offer. Also might want to get your house fixed so others know who to call.
