He assessed the situation and quickly fixed the primary problem by clearing out an obstruction in the drainpipe thus allowing water to flow unobstructed to the septic tank without backing up through the floor drains. Elijah’s explanations were thorough and easily understood and he recommended that the scale and debris be removed from the cast iron pipe leading into the septic tank. While Elijah was clearing the drain, Joe started the process of evaluating the extent of the water damage to the carpet and sheetrock which will be thoroughly evaluated in the next couple of days by a crew trained in the remediation process. Additionally, Elijah made arrangements for another technician (Jordan) to come in with a camera which revealed that the cast iron pipe into the septic tank was coated in a relatively thick layer of scale. That problem will be resolved in a week. Overall, we were very pleased with the work done by Elijah, Joe and Jordan! All three technicians were very professional, courteous and easy to communicate with on all the apparent issues. They all went right to work and were not only efficient but effective. We would definitely go back to Roto- Rooter in the future!!
