E.C. Plumbing was hired based on a competitive bidding process to replace a tankless water heater and was selected for a combination of factors (quality, value and timeliness). The work was done on time, and two change orders were approved by me. The change orders were for an unforeseen condensation drain line and for the installation of inline matching water softener for tankless water heaters (that was not part of the original bid). The change orders were reasonably price and approved. I do recommend Mr. Castillo's work and would use E.C. Plumbing again.

If you're looking for reliable plumbing and care about your property, I'd advise against using EC Plumbing (License # 1020252). My go-to plumber was tied up, so he recommended Eric, his former student. I fully explained the issue before Eric showed up, but his solution was just to snake the line instead of addressing the underlying issue. This didn’t fix the problem. Two days later, I'm still dealing with the same issue. When I tried to reach out to him, he ignored me. A week later, he finally responded, wrongly claiming the issue was fixed when it clearly wasn’t. Wastewater is still backing up into the pipes, toilets, sinks, and shower.What's worse, Eric basically gave us a metaphorical middle finger. He wouldn't honor the warranty either, saying it only applied to the toilet, not the mainline, even though his invoice says otherwise. It's pretty clear to me now that Eric is not only untrustworthy but also doesn't stand by his work. Eric's trustworthiness is further questioned by an incident involving payment. Initially, he quoted me a specific sum for his services, and I promptly issued a check for this amount. However, a discrepancy arose a few days later when he emailed me the receipt, which reflected a total $5.00 less than what he had originally stated and what was written on the check. While the discrepancy is only for $5.00, Eric did not want to make it right or refund the $5.00 overcharge. This discrepancy also suggests that overstating costs could be a tactic he uses to inappropriately obtain more money and also pay less on taxes.

Edgar was very efficient and willing to give me a great deal. His work was outstanding. He installed a new water heater and the quarter turn valve nibs for all my bathrooms within 2hrs. He even spent time explaining how my new water heater works and what to look for. I originally asked him about another plumbing problem that he said was not needing of repair, he could Have lied and told me I needed the repair , but he was honest and very good at his job.

I called. He came. Did an excellent job and price was very fair. Being on disability, I need good services I can afford and Eric made my day. He is now my goto plumber. I will refer him to all my friends and family.
