Boyer's Sewer And Drain Introduce
For residents and property owners throughout the Peoria Heights and Central Illinois region, plumbing issues, particularly those involving stubborn drains and essential sewer lines, require immediate and specialized attention. Boyer's Sewer And Drain is a local service provider focused on these core areas of plumbing: keeping your water moving properly and efficiently. Based in Peoria Heights, this company is positioned to respond to the critical maintenance and repair needs of the community, offering focused expertise in the often-challenging world of subterranean and internal pipe issues.
The importance of a functioning sewer and drain system cannot be overstated, especially in older Illinois homes where pipe infrastructure may be decades old. Boyer's Sewer And Drain positions itself as a specialist capable of addressing these specific, high-stakes problems. Their primary services revolve around the crucial maintenance points of any plumbing system—the outflow. They aim to provide focused solutions to prevent the messy and potentially costly backups and floods that can seriously damage basements and properties across the region.
However, when considering a local service provider, it is always recommended for Illinois users to research and cross-reference information thoroughly. While the company focuses on essential services, customer experience can vary widely. Plumbing, particularly sewer and drain work, demands precision and complete resolution on the first visit. For all homeowners, the assurance that a job is fully fixed is paramount to avoiding future emergencies, which is a key factor to weigh when selecting a service.
Boyer's Sewer And Drain operates from a centralized location in Peoria Heights, making them accessible to the surrounding Peoria County area. Their address is 933 E Glen Ave, Peoria Heights, IL 61616, USA. This positioning is conducive to serving local residents and businesses quickly, which is particularly beneficial when dealing with urgent drain and sewer blockages where every hour counts to prevent flooding or property damage.
As a local Illinois service, their concentration on the immediate Peoria Heights vicinity and greater Peoria area suggests a familiarity with the regional infrastructure. This local knowledge is often critical for understanding common plumbing issues, such as those related to local soil conditions, tree root intrusion into sewer lines, and the materials used in older residential plumbing systems common in Central Illinois. For scheduling, potential customers can utilize their primary contact numbers to inquire about service availability and response times for their specific location within the service range.
Boyer's Sewer And Drain specializes in the critical and often demanding area of waste water and drain flow maintenance. Their offerings are concentrated on solving core issues related to clogs, backups, and pipe integrity.
- Drain Cleaning: Focused services dedicated to removing blockages from various types of drains, from sinks and tubs to main basement and floor drains. The primary aim is to restore proper flow and prevent sewage backup.
- Sewer Repair: Addressing problems in the main sewer line that connects a property to the municipal system or septic tank. This is often necessary for issues like root intrusion, collapsed lines, or serious, persistent blockages that standard drain snaking cannot clear.
- Plumbing Pipe Repair: General repair of existing interior and exterior plumbing pipes. This covers leaks, cracks, or minor damage to the water and waste lines within the property’s boundary.
- Repair Services: Their business model is specifically oriented toward providing repair services for existing systems, rather than extensive new installations.
Based on the available business information and public customer feedback, the features and attributes of Boyer's Sewer And Drain include:
- Specialized Focus: The company concentrates specifically on sewer and drain issues, which allows for a deep technical focus on these common, high-priority plumbing problems.
- Repair Orientation: The company is positioned as a service provider dedicated to plumbing repairs, a key offering for homeowners dealing with unexpected malfunctions and blockages.
- Payment Convenience: The business accepts credit cards, providing customers with a flexible payment option for services rendered. This is a practical benefit, especially when facing unplanned and urgent plumbing expenses.
- Varying Service Outcomes: Customer reports show a mixed experience, with some indicating very quick, efficient, and affordable solutions for root removal and simple repairs, while others report dissatisfaction with the perceived completeness of the service and subsequent re-clogging issues.
- Pricing Perception: Some customer feedback suggests that the company can offer affordable pricing for specific services, such as routine annual cleanings or simple wax ring replacements, making them an economical choice for minor, recurrent issues.
- Customer Interaction Issues: Concerns have been raised by customers regarding the follow-through on promised work, the accuracy of work descriptions provided by employees, and communication lapses, including failure to show up for scheduled re-appointments.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had them out in February to unclog our basement drain. They spent less than 10 minutes doing it which was weird and said it was fixed. When I went down to check myself and look at the ring camera they didn’t seem to do very much and I noticed that it was still pretty clogged. I saw the good reviews and decided to trust them. Wrong!Paid $125 for them to not fix anything. We contacted the city twice just in case it wasn’t on our end and the city was kind enough to do a flush and check on their end. Unfortunately it is on our end so sewer water keeps coming up our drain now that it is rainy season. Definitely will not be paying for a service I was told that was fixed and is not since my basement is flooded with sewer water!
May 01 · Alyssa RousselWe asked them to come out to snake our bathtub drain. The only thing that they did was wiggle the tub lever and removed some hair by hand. Our tub drained a bit better but we had asked for them to snake it since it's an older house and we don't have a cover on the drain. We could have removed whatever hair we could by hand - that's why we wanted a plumber to come out and have it snaked. I spoke to who I assume is the owner and explained the situation and he insisted that his guy that had come out (the owner had not been in attendance, it was his employee) definitely snaked the drain. He also said that they removed the tub lever and went in and snaked. This is impossible because there is still old glue around the tub lever. I insisted that he had not done what we had asked him to and he offered to come out at 8:15 a.m. on that following Saturday and I told him yes that we would be available. Saturday came around and he did not show. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. It seems that his "right hand man" is not completing jobs and will most likely continue to lie about it. So we spent $120 for them to do what we could have done ourselves.*edit*As suspected, the clog is an issue again and it’s clear that nothing was actually done!! $120 wasted.
June 04 · KrisI'm always relieved by the quick work, experience, and fair pricing I get from these guys. They saved me money compared to other estimates and didn't try to scare me into replacing things before it's necessary. A trustworthy company is extremely valuable to me because I don't have much knowledge about plumbing. Tiger tried to convince me I needed a new sewer line for over $10k...Boyers did a scope, gave me a second opinion, then cleaned out tree roots for $300. Now they clear it once a year for $150. This week I had a sewer gas smell in the house. They replaced the wax ring on a toilet in 15 minutes and charged a fair price. I'm very grateful.
