Arc Plumbing Introduce
As a homeowner or business operator in Southern California, you know that a properly functioning plumbing system is essential to daily life and operations. From the constant battles with hard water that leads to sediment buildup and corrosion, to the occasional clogged drain or leaky faucet, plumbing issues are a regular part of property maintenance in the Golden State. Having a reliable, local plumbing partner is key to quickly and efficiently resolving these problems. This is where a local professional like ARC Plumbing comes into the picture for residents and businesses in the Hawthorne area and broader Southern California region.
ARC Plumbing, located in Hawthorne, CA, has established itself as a local contractor providing essential plumbing services. The company's main line of business is focused on general plumbing contracting, indicating a capacity to handle a variety of projects, ranging from common residential repairs to larger installations. Established in 1998, with a listing in the Blue Book since 2008, A.R.C. Plumbing has a long-standing presence as a California business. It's important for local customers to know that the company's licensed status is verifiable through the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), with a license number of 729528, valid until November 30, 2026. This foundational information is important for those seeking assurance of a licensed and established service provider.
Operating out of its Hawthorne location, ARC Plumbing aims to address the day-to-day and unexpected plumbing needs of the community. In a region where common plumbing headaches include insufficient hot water, running toilets that waste precious water, and low water pressure often caused by mineral deposits and older pipes, a local plumber with a focus on quick and accurate diagnosis is invaluable. The company has historically serviced areas across Southern California, including portions of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties, which speaks to a broader regional reach in its contracting work.
Plumbing work is often judged on the professionalism, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of the service. Reports from customers about ARC Plumbing often highlight the professionalism of the team, with several mentions of specific employees being courteous, knowledgeable, and completing work in a timely manner. Examples from positive customer feedback include same-day service, professional and courteous staff, and competitive pricing for jobs like water heater repairs compared to larger competitors. This suggests a commitment to local, personal service. However, potential customers should also be aware that, like many service businesses, there are mixed reviews in the public sphere, including complaints regarding pricing transparency and the quality of some installation work, such as HVAC/duct work (which may be a separate service not solely focused on plumbing) and failed drain clearing attempts, leading to claims of a "bait and switch" approach. These varying reports underscore the importance of getting a clear, upfront estimate before any work begins, a standard best practice when hiring any contractor.
The services offered by ARC Plumbing cover many of the most common issues faced by California property owners. A breakdown of their primary offerings is as follows:
- Faucet installation: Handling the setup of new bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
- Faucet repair: Fixing leaks and issues related to existing taps. In a hard water area like Southern California, this is a frequent necessity due to mineral-related corrosion on internal components.
- Plumbing pipe repair: Addressing leaks, breaks, or corrosion in water or drain pipes, a common concern in older California homes with aging infrastructure.
- Toilet installation: Installing new toilets, often as replacements for older, less water-efficient models, which is important for conservation in California.
- Water heater installation: Setting up new water heating units, including both traditional tank and potentially tankless models, which is critical given the common problem of water heater failures and sediment buildup in the region.
- Water heater repair: Diagnosing and fixing issues with existing water heaters, such as faulty thermostats, damaged heating elements, or sediment flushing.
- General repair services: This category includes other necessary fixes around the home or commercial property, and historical customer feedback suggests their technicians handle things like water pressure issues, expansion tank repairs, and even water fountain installations for commercial projects.
These core services address the bulk of residential and commercial plumbing needs. In a high-traffic area like Hawthorne, rapid response for simple but disruptive repairs—such as a leaking dishwasher or a running toilet—is a major factor in customer satisfaction. By focusing on these fundamental repairs and installations, ARC Plumbing positions itself as a go-to local expert for essential home and property maintenance.
The physical office of ARC Plumbing is situated in a central location within the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. Its headquarters serve as a base for dispatching technicians throughout the service area, helping them reach properties quickly in and around Hawthorne.

- Licensed Contractor: The business holds a valid license (729528) from the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), providing assurance of regulatory compliance.
- Focus on Core Repairs: Services center on high-demand repairs and installations, including water heaters, faucets, toilets, and pipes, which are the most frequent causes of plumbing emergencies.

Choosing a local plumber like ARC Plumbing means opting for a contractor with a history in the Southern California market and direct experience with regional plumbing issues. For homeowners and landlords, a service provider that is accustomed to working on the mix of older and newer properties found in the greater Los Angeles area, and who understands the impact of hard water and drought on household systems, offers a distinct advantage. Their core service offerings cover all of the essentials—from the small irritations of a leaky faucet to the major investment of a new water heater. Customers looking for a locally owned and operated company that has demonstrated a capacity for quick response and professional field service, while being mindful of seeking clear estimates for their specific job, may find ARC Plumbing to be a worthwhile choice for their essential plumbing repairs and installations.
Ultimately, for any plumbing service, local clients are advised to clearly communicate the scope of work, request a detailed written estimate upfront to ensure price transparency, and consult their CSLB records for current licensing status before contracting for services. This diligence, combined with a review of a company's historical performance and service range, is the best way to secure a reliable plumbing solution in Hawthorne, CA, and throughout Southern California.

Arc Plumbing Reviews
These guys are a bunch of crooks! I had them install an AC unit in my house and redo all of the duct work. 18 months later the unit has two leaks and the pad they built for the system outside has sunken and is not level causing issues. When I reached out for them to come repair their faulty work, they quoted me $1,500 before even coming on site. Beware, they might be less expensive but you’ll pay for their mistakes. I will be contacting the BBB to report this.
September 12 · Seth DavidowitzBait and switch and incompetent. Ad says $79 to clear drain. When he got here it was $298. He was unable to clear the drain pipe so he asked for $550 to pull off the toilet and go through there. I sent him home and got another plumber who finish the job through the drain in 20 minutes for $150. You make the call...
