Seitz Brothers Inc Introduce
For businesses, developers, and property managers across the Twin Cities and the surrounding metro area, finding a reliable and experienced plumbing partner is crucial. A complex commercial or industrial plumbing system requires specialized expertise that goes beyond routine residential work. This is where a company like Seitz Brothers Inc, based right here in Minneapolis, steps in. With a decades-long track record, this family-owned operation has established itself as a premier full-service plumbing contractor focused on the unique needs of the commercial sector in Minnesota.
Seitz Brothers Inc is not a newcomer to the industry. The company’s roots in the plumbing trade span three generations, a testament to its deep, enduring commitment to quality workmanship and institutional knowledge. Officially founded in 1976 by Jack Seitz, the business has grown to become a trusted name for commercial and industrial plumbing systems. This profound history provides a valuable foundation of expertise, ensuring that they are equipped to handle projects of any scale, from intricate tenant improvements to large-scale new construction.
What truly sets this Minneapolis-based business apart is its specialization. While many plumbers serve both residential and commercial clients, Seitz Brothers Inc focuses primarily on the complexities inherent in commercial and industrial plumbing. These systems often involve more stringent codes, specialized equipment, and greater scale than residential setups. Their team is dedicated to navigating these challenges, ensuring every project is completed correctly, efficiently, and on schedule, meeting the exact specifications required by businesses, industrial manufacturing facilities, and office buildings throughout the region.
Operating as a full-service plumbing contractor means they are involved in every phase of a project. This comprehensive approach is particularly evident in their "design build" specialization, where they work closely with clients from the initial concept phase, through design, and all the way to final installation and maintenance. This collaborative model ensures that the plumbing system is not only functional but is optimally designed for the building’s specific operations and long-term efficiency.
The longevity of the company is also reflected in the tenure of its team. According to public information, many of their licensed plumbers have been with the company for fifteen years or more. This low turnover rate means customers benefit from consistent, high-level expertise, as technicians bring a wealth of collective experience to every job site. This commitment to their team translates directly into a higher quality of service for the businesses they serve across Minnesota.
Seitz Brothers Inc is strategically situated to serve the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area and its surrounding regions. Their physical location ensures they can efficiently deploy teams to commercial sites throughout Minneapolis and its neighbors.

For property managers, developers, and business owners in Minnesota, the decision of who to trust with critical infrastructure like plumbing is significant. Seitz Brothers Inc presents a compelling case based on its specialization and history. The commitment to commercial and industrial work means they are not just plumbers; they are specialized system designers and builders for the business environment. This distinction is vital when dealing with complex needs, specialized equipment, and the necessary regulatory compliance that governs commercial and healthcare properties.
Customer feedback illustrates a strong reputation in the professional sector. For instance, one property manager for downtown Minneapolis condos offered the company their "highest endorsement without hesitation," citing that their work is "consistently outstanding." This kind of review from a repeat, professional client highlights a proven track record in high-stakes environments like urban management. The knowledge that they have been operating for decades as a three-generation, family-owned business also instills confidence in their stability and dedication to the local market.
However, it is always prudent for customers to practice due diligence, especially concerning pricing for project-based work. As one property owner noted, while the final installation work was correct, they advised others to "be careful to get a price up front," mentioning a cost that seemed excessive for the scope of the fix. This points to the standard business practice of always securing a detailed, upfront quote for any substantial commercial job. In the end, the choice for Seitz Brothers Inc often comes down to their unmatched specialization in large, complicated systems for the industrial and commercial spaces that power the Minnesota economy. When complex infrastructure is on the line, their deep experience and specialized focus make them a formidable partner.

I have been managing downtown condos in Minneapolis for 11 years, and Seitz is unequivocally my top recommendation for residents. Their work is consistently outstanding! I give them my highest endorsement without hesitation!
June 12 · Matthew NatysinThis company was hired by my management company to fix two drains in a commercial property that I own. The showers had plastic floors that moved and created gaps in the seal between the floor and drain. Simple fix was to replace the drain component with a new component. Probably a 3-5 hour job (including drive time to and from location) at most for a pro plumber and about 100 dollars in parts. This cost my company 1750 dollars. Ridiculous! Not sure he has many repeat customers. It seems to me that he takes advantage of customers if given the chance. To be fair I believe the install was done correctly, but be careful to get a price up front, this company will soak you if they get the chance.
May 17 · Mariah HimmelwrightThe plumber was unprepared to handle a frozen pipe issue in December 2013. Upon arrival, the plumber asked to use our hair dryer to un-thaw a frozen pipe. Additionally, he showed up with his girlfriend to handle the job. The most frustrating part of the experience was that the plumber left our home with the pipe still frozen and no real solution. On top of the lack of service, we were charged for 3 hours of service of which 2 hours was for travel time to and from our home. We were left with a frozen pipe and a $665 bill. There is no chance I will ever use this plumber again.
May 02 · Scott BensonAlways reliable and infinitely better than a place like Dean's. They are my go to if I have to call in a plumber and I would definitely recommend them.
September 23 · Marty RickThis place is the absolute worst. Simple plumbing jobs are out of their league, they act like the don't have any supplies, they tell you to expect them, then they say they don't want to do the job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON. They are the "Retards of plumbing"
