Choosing a repiping specialist in Orange County requires careful consideration of a company's expertise, customer service record, and commitment to quality. Pipe It Right Re-pipe presents itself as a specialized company focused on providing a permanent solution to old, failing water systems through modern repiping techniques. For many homeowners dealing with the frustrating reality of low water pressure or recurring leaks, a full repipe is the necessary step to restore comfort and protect property value, and this is where a repiping specialist’s focused experience becomes valuable.
Customers considering this company should weigh the full scope of the business’s offerings. The promise of using an in-house crew, managing the permitting process, and providing upfront, detailed quotes speaks to a dedication to transparency and quality control. This is a crucial factor, especially in complex, multi-day projects like a whole-house repipe, where coordination and consistent communication are paramount.
Reviewing customer feedback can offer further insight into the typical experience. Some customers, like the one whose job was completed by a crew led by Manuel, praise the on-time arrival, the thorough explanation of the work, and the awesome job with cleanup and professionalism. This highlights instances where the team delivers an excellent service experience, leaving the customer highly satisfied and recommending the team's work for its smooth execution and professionalism.
However, an essential part of an honest evaluation is acknowledging when issues arise and how a company responds. Another detailed customer review describes a significantly challenging experience, including the crew initially mixing up the hot and cold water lines in half of the house. This led to multiple rounds of wall and ceiling cuts and patching, water damage, and damaged property, with the customer feeling frustrated by curt communication during the remediation process. Crucially, the same review notes that the company was ultimately responsive to correct the errors, with a specific team member, Luis, and the patching crew doing a superb job to fix the mistakes. This demonstrates a company that, while potentially having inconsistencies in its crew performance, has an established process and a commitment to eventually making things right and ensuring the final plumbing system is functional and the structure is properly restored, even if the journey to that end is frustrating for the customer. The extensive experience in sheetrock patching, for example, is a valuable service that ensures the home is returned to a finished state—a detail not all plumbing companies provide.
In summary, choosing Pipe It Right Re-pipe means opting for a specialist with a focus on comprehensive repiping, a wide array of general plumbing services, and a stated dedication to managing the entire project in-house. Homeowners should engage in a thorough consultation, utilize the free estimate offering, and clearly communicate their expectations for both the plumbing installation and the subsequent restoration work. The firm's commitment to correcting complex, post-installation issues, while sometimes necessary, highlights its ultimate dedication to completing the work to a functional standard, backed by the expertise of their patching crew.

Pipe It Right Re-pipe Reviews
I had a bad experience with Pipe it Right, which finished a re-pipe on my house this week (July 2025) in Mission Viejo.1. The biggest problem was that the installation crew switched hot and cold water lines for 1/2 of the house - I had hot water going into my upstairs toilet, into the refrigerator, and to the outdoor spigot, and they switched hot and cold on my kitchen sink, master shower, and master tub. How does an experienced crew screw up something so basic? Answer: I don’t think they were that experienced. This may be the reason their online reviews only seem to go back three years. And because I didn’t find most of these problems until after the all of the ceiling patching was done, they had to cut and patch TWICE. Not fun. Hearing them cut into the sheetrock the second time was painful. Attached is picture of SECOND set of cuts in the kitchen ceiling after it had been completely patched and retextured. And obviously this took more time.2. Some of the cuts in the wall were pretty bad. See picture. This makes it harder to patch, but the bigger problem is it reflects on the quality of work.3. When they removed the copper piping, they let water drain out in between the walls next to my downstairs bathroom, so I have staining on the baseboards and they will need to get repainted or replaced (once they dry out). See pictures.4. Secondary problems. The more times workmen have to come back to the house, the more stuff gets damaged. Dishwasher top got scratched when it was taken out to fix first set of problems. See picture.5. When the problems became apparent the company definitely was responsive, but communication from Paulina the job coordinator became curt, with no apology, giving the impression that I was somehow the problem. This was infuriating.Michael the salesman had stressed the competency of the workers and the quality of the work, and Paulina said she was sending her “best crew”, but that was not my experience. I’m still giving them two stars because the company was responsive to correct the problems (thanks very much to Luis, who was great), because the sheetrock patching job Isaias and his crew did (twice) was superb, and because the new water lines seem to work. But the installation was a trainwreck, the remediation process was frustrating, and I’m now really, really concerned about what issues may be hidden in my walls waiting to pop up in the future. I regret my decision to hire them.
July 16 · Mmark hManuel and his team arrived on time ready to work. He provided a thorough explanation about the work he was scheduled to do. Looked at what needed to be done and gave his crew instructions and their assignments. They completed the work and did an awesome job with the cleanup. Very pleased with their work and professionalism. Highly recommend this team and would definitely use them should the need arise again. Thanks guys!
May 02 · Vernessie HornI’m super impressed and pleased with the experience with the team at pipe it right. My first experience was five years ago when we had a serious pipe leak in an older house that led to a full re-pipe. That process with the team was great and I highly recommend them for any leak and remediation and especially for re-pipe but what happened this week is quite remarkable from any service perspective. The hot water heater that we had installed during the re-pipe had an issue where the pilot wouldn’t stay lit. I got back in touch with the team and they were able to pull up all the original records and Cynthia worked with me over the weekend to help get someone out to work on the unit. She was incredibly pleasant and super responsive both on phone and text over the weekend and was able to get me a slot with Albert on the first available appointment. I had had another company come out in the meantime and all they did was barely look at the unit and just tell me I needed a new one on a unit that was less than five years old, very disappointing. But when Albert came out, he took the time to really inspect and uncovered the real problem, which was a leaky unit and then was able to go back to the original manufacture and get me a warranty replacement of the unit and got the new unit installed same day. I mean, wow, I am so impressed and so pleased. It’s always a temptation to shop around, I will never do that again. Pipe it right and the team is the one stop to go to for anything related to plumbing needs. I can’t recommend them enough.
March 12 · Kevin McAdamI started with Albert since I had reference from my friends and community, he came to our house and reviewed re-pipe work and provided the estimation for whole house re-pipe, it was best estimate compared to other vendors.Once we engage them to work on re-pipe, they did awesome work on re-pipe and installed whole house water filter, they kept my place clean and informed every step of the way. There are many people to thank, they have team of experts on Copper pipe work, PEX installation, Faucets installation and Dry wall patch. All made my life easy and got the work done in two days plus two more days for patch and inspection.Inspections depends on City’s inspector availability but Kelsey and Cynthia stayed on top of it to pull the necessary permits and inspections scheduling at right time, they did great work.Overall, 5-star service by Albert and his team. My family is happy with work.
March 08 · Nachendra BPipe-it-Right came in and did a great job on a whole house repiping due to slab leaks, putting in new copper piping and patching the walls, matching the texture perfectly on the interior drywall and exterior stucco. In addition, they fixed an old drain problem behind the wall in the spare bath that other companies apparently couldn’t, or wouldn’t, even though they were perfectly happy to charge me to come out and look at it. I very much appreciate the extra effort Pipe-it-Right made in making it right and not giving up. The pipe installation, drain repair, inspections, re-patching walls, and final inspection was scheduled and completed in a timely matter. It was a team effort to get it all done.
