Dr Drain Introduce
For residents across the Illinois area, finding a dependable local plumber is crucial for maintaining a safe and functional home. When clogs, leaks, or more serious sewer issues strike, you need a professional who understands the specific challenges of local infrastructure and is prepared to respond effectively. Dr Drain, a service specializing in essential repair services, is one such business rooted in the Illinois community, dedicated to addressing various plumbing needs, from minor fixes to emergency situations.
They are known for focusing on repair services, which include crucial problem-solving for homeowners facing water flow disruptions. The name itself suggests a specialization in drain-related problems, a common issue that can escalate quickly if not handled by experts. In a place like Illinois, where weather and aging infrastructure can pose unique challenges to plumbing systems, having a specialist who focuses on keeping your essential systems running is a major advantage for local homeowners.
The company provides necessary problem-solving to help homeowners restore functionality to their plumbing systems. While repair services are the core offering, it's clear the goal is to bring peace of mind to customers during stressful plumbing emergencies. As a locally focused provider, they aim to be the go-to contact for quick, essential plumbing assistance.
One of the most valuable services in the area is their expertise with flood control pump issues. As one customer noted, a sudden failure of a flood control pump can be a major emergency. Being able to have a service provider that is equipped to address this specific, critical problem quickly is a significant benefit for residents in low-lying or high-water table areas throughout Illinois. Their ability to handle emergency calls and provide a rapid, fair-priced solution, as demonstrated in customer feedback, highlights a key value proposition for the community.
However, users should be aware of a mixed service experience, as customer reviews reflect both very positive and negative feedback regarding reliability and scheduling. One customer praised the fast, same-day emergency response for a flood control pump issue and a very fair price, while another reported a negative experience involving a missed appointment and no communication. This suggests that while their technical ability and pricing can be excellent, particularly in emergencies, the customer experience regarding scheduling for non-emergency issues can be inconsistent. When considering Dr Drain, it may be prudent to confirm appointments clearly, especially for routine service calls.

Dr Drain Reviews
I received a flyer for Dr. Drain which someone left on my front porch. OK. I decided to call Dr. Drain for a minor plumbing issue i had. First, he was an hour late for our first appointment. I had to call him and ask him if he was still planning to make our appointment. After he finally came over to look at the issue we made an appointment for him to come the next day. He never showed up. No call either. I would not bother with him.! He is not dependable or he just did not like the neighborhood I lived in...hmmmmm
June 05 · Rochelle JohnsonMy flood control pump stopped working and I called and they stopped by in a couple of hours. I called 6 other places 2 of which never got back to me 2 others couldn't come out for at least a week. Dr. drain had me up and running within one hour charging a very fare price. I would definitely call them again.
October 03 · ALAN MACKMy husband and I had work done in our basement in 2011 because the water in our shower was not draining properly. Bob told us that we had "sewage issues". During this time, one of his workers stole my husbands video game controller. He was very unprofessional and a slickster. He constantly blamed his workers for his short comings. He even fired this one poor guy because he would not cosign his bull. After they finished the work, we had a company to come and lay tile and paint. After everything was completed, we saw that the water in the drain still did not drain properly in the shower. When we told him this, he blamed the people who laid the tile and refused to rectify the problem. Now we are having other issues with our plumbing thst needs to be resolved. Please, do not use this company!
