Premier Plumbing Introduce
Finding a reputable and responsive plumber is a high priority for homeowners and business operators throughout Indianapolis and the Central Indiana region. Premier Plumbing, operating out of a central Indianapolis location, is a Plumber that offers a broad spectrum of repair services for both residential properties and large commercial projects. The company's goal is to deliver fine service and high-quality workmanship, keeping up with the latest technology to make services efficient and affordable for customers.
Premier Plumbing is equipped to handle issues from small-scale household repairs to significant industrial or commercial system demands. Their services span essential areas like Sewer and drain cleaning, Waterline replacement, Well & Sump pump service, and specialized tasks like Backflow testing and Leak detection. They aim to be a comprehensive contractor, assisting customers through every step of the repair or installation process.
However, potential customers in Indiana should be aware that, based on available public feedback, there have been significant customer service and professional execution concerns, particularly in cases involving Home Warranty Co. assignments. Reviews cite major issues with non-responsiveness—taking five days or more to return calls—and poor workmanship, including a technician allegedly failing to fix a toilet and leaving a "HUGE filthy mess" that resulted in the customer demanding a different plumber. Other reports detail "rude and unprofessional" behavior, canceled appointments without notice, and unexpected charges after a deductible had been paid to a warranty company. These accounts suggest inconsistency in service delivery and customer communication.
While the company publicly states a commitment to quality and is positioned for a wide range of services, prospective clients are strongly advised to thoroughly vet their current practices and understand all service terms, especially if coordinating through a home warranty provider, given the documented history of poor customer experiences.
Premier Plumbing is strategically situated in Indianapolis, Indiana, allowing them to service the city and the surrounding counties of Central Indiana, including Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, and Johnson counties. This location offers a logistical advantage for rapid deployment for various service needs across the metro area.
The stated service address is:
- 1361 Burdsal Pkwy, Indianapolis, IN 46208, USA
Premier Plumbing's contact information is:
- Phone: (317) 536-2824
- Mobile Phone: +1 317-536-2824
It is important for local users to note the serious customer service concerns regarding response times. Despite the central location, multiple customers have reported significant delays—up to five days—in receiving initial contact or having appointments honored, which is a major factor to consider when dealing with time-sensitive plumbing issues. They have publicly noted offering Emergency Service on Saturdays, Sundays, and after 5 p.m. on weekdays, although the actual availability and quality of response for these services, especially through warranty referrals, should be carefully confirmed by the customer.
Premier Plumbing promotes itself as a full-service plumbing contractor capable of handling diverse plumbing and related mechanical needs for different property types across Central Indiana. Their service catalogue is extensive, covering everything from routine maintenance to complex installations.

- Irrigation: Irrigation services/installations, supporting outdoor water management systems.
- Installation and Construction
- New Construction: Providing full plumbing installation for new residential and commercial buildings.
- Remodeling and Renovation: Plumbing Renovation services for property upgrades and remodels.

Premier Plumbing's advertised capabilities focus on versatility and industry knowledge, aiming to serve a wide market base across Central Indiana.
- Wide Service Scope: The ability to handle both small-scale residential plumbing issues and large-scale commercial or industrial projects is a significant professional feature.
- Extensive Coverage Area: Their listed service area covers five key Central Indiana counties (Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson), demonstrating a commitment to regional reach.
- Diverse Specialties: Beyond basic repairs, they offer specialized services like Backflow Testing, Irrigation Installation, Septic Pumping/Repair, and Sump Pump service, positioning them as a versatile contractor.
- After-Hours Availability: The public mention of Emergency Service on evenings and weekends is an essential feature for customers facing unexpected plumbing crises, though customers should verify the reliability of this response.
- Founding Principle: According to public profiles, the owner is a Hoosier, trained in Plumbers and Seam Fitters, with a stated philosophy of providing an "Honest days work for honest days pay."
⚠️ **Note on Customer Experience:** The most prominent feature highlighted in public feedback is the serious inconsistency and poor quality of service in several instances, including failure to fix the original problem, extreme delays in communication (5+ days), unprofessional conduct, and leaving messes for the customer to clean. This directly contradicts the implied professionalism and must be heavily weighed when considering this company.
For scheduling repair services or discussing commercial projects with Premier Plumbing, please use the following contact information. Given the reported issues with phone responsiveness, persistence may be necessary:
- Address: 1361 Burdsal Pkwy, Indianapolis, IN 46208, USA
- Phone: (317) 536-2824
- Mobile Phone: +1 317-536-2824
- Additional Contacts (Reportedly): Mr. Jerry Steele (President), Mr. Lawrence Talley (Officer), Ms. Brenda Sykes (Director of Operations)
When choosing a plumber in Indiana, the decision rests on a balance between capability and reliability. Premier Plumbing clearly possesses the capability, advertising a wide range of repair services, commercial project experience, and technical specialties (like Backflow Testing and Welding). This scope makes them theoretically suitable for highly diverse and large-scale plumbing needs.
However, the decision to choose this company must be heavily mitigated by the significant volume and severity of negative customer reviews, particularly concerning responsiveness, professionalism, and the core quality of the repair services provided. Multiple customers detail experiences of being treated poorly, suffering extreme delays, and requiring a second, different plumber to correct work that was either left unfinished or improperly executed. In the high-stakes environment of plumbing and water damage, reliability is arguably the most critical factor.
Therefore, while Premier Plumbing offers an extensive list of Repair services and is located centrally in Indianapolis, the documented history of poor customer outcomes suggests that Indiana users seeking a reliable, punctual, and highly professional service should proceed with extreme caution and may find better peace of mind with a different provider whose customer service reputation is consistently positive.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This plumber was assigned to us through our Home Warranty Co. Please, refuse to use this company. He did not fix the problem with out toilet and left a HUGE filthy mess for us to clean up.He was either completely incompetent or just wanted to be done for the day. When we realized there was still nasty water leaking from our toilet later that night, we had to call the warranty co and demand someone else come and fix it. Fortunately we found our own highly reviewed plumber. Night and day difference between him and this guy. Also, they are supposed to respond to our call within 24 hours. The first time it took them five days to contact us. The second time when we originally were going to use him again to fix the problem that he had already failed to take care of, it took another five days and then our home warranty company called them, and they still refuse to call us back. Totally unprofessional and useless.I can honestly say this is the WORST service technician I have ever used for any problem in my home. They truly don’t deserve to be in business.
September 22 · Known_TerrestrialThis company was referred through my home warranty company to repair my hot water heater. When I called to schedule the man that answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. Finally we scheduled a time for them to come out. They gave me a 4 hr window and said they would call a half hour before they come. No one ever called or showed up. I left a voice mail and then the same rude unprofessional man told me they canceled my service due to them having the incorrect service order number which he wrote down incorrectly. A week after first making contact with this company the same rude man told me his boss said it would be $200 for them to come out after i had already paid my deductible to the warranty company. After being talked to like a dog and being hung up on without saying bye at the end of our several conversations I refused their service and had the warranty company send another company. I was yelled at, hung up on and treated very poorly by this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
June 24 · Latrice GarrettI'd love to give zero stars. Like most of the other reviewers, I did not select this company. They were assigned to my claim through my home warranty. They did NOT call me in the one business day window. I had to call them myself to get a technician to my house. He spent less than 10 minutes in my house, said my thermostat was out, took my deductible, and then said he'd be back that same day with the part. I told him to call if he couldn't make it that same day. He didn't. I had to call them again the next day to schedule his second visit to actually fix the water heater. He showed up late to our appointment (past 6 pm which is just ridiculous), spent 10 minutes in the house again, apparently replaced the part, and then he told me to check in 30 minutes since it would take time to heat up the water. I did, and WE DID NOT HAVE RUNNING WATER. THIS IS WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF HIS WORK. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE TO A TECHNICIAN WHO DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE.I called them this morning to complain, and they told me I'd have to file a recall claim through my warranty claim. I asked to see a receipt of the new part they put in to my water heater. They apparently can't give me that.I'll certainly file a formal complaint and do my best to make sure Premier Plumbing is not a continued supplier of services for the warranty company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INEFFICIENT TECHS. You can't take $100 and have zero regard for work quality.
August 11 · Amrutha PulikottilI had a hot water heater that needed assistance, and my home warranty company assigned me to this provider. The first experience that I had with this company went very well. He was quick to get my initial in-take taken care of quickly, and assessed that we need a new water heater. From that day forward, it was all down hill. We decided that we wanted to increase the size of our water heater from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon water heater, and I asked if we could pay the difference. He told me that he would have an invoice over by the end of the night... 5 days later I finally got an email with the difference, and I signed it with the total stating $175 would be the total. He said he would be in contact with me about scheduling... which I never got, until the day he wanted to come install the water heater. I got a text from him stating that he couldn't come that day because the water heater wasn't available; and conveniently, less than 15 minutes later he had a new water heater replacement for $250, and said he would be over soon to replace it. A guy from the company showed up, drained my old water heater, and then turned off the water, and was waiting for over an hour in his truck doing nothing. Then another worker, the man I've worked with in the past, came and started to assist him in removing the old unit. Due to the lack of communication on when he was coming, i had to have my in-laws come to help with childcare needs due to another child needing to go to a practice. So I had to leave my house, and I asked the man if we could discuss the invoice and what would be due since my in-laws would be at my house and I wanted to take care of the cost. And then the total was almost $500, with no line-by-line explanation of what the charges were, nor was there a discussion about what the warranty company covers/doesn't cover. I told him I wasn't paying that until I had a discussion with the warranty company, and I wanted to confirm that. He got upset, told me he was offended and that I needed to find a new service provider. Meanwhile, while I was gone, my mother in law, asked him to hook the old water heater back up, which he said he would do. He turned my water back on, but didn't hook the water lines back up to the water heater, so it was literally flooding my garage, and leaking into my laundry room and closet inside. He left my water heater like that, on purpose, which shows what the character of this company is. I think this is absolutely unacceptable, and there needs to be accountability on his actions.
May 05 · Ashley MooreI was assigned this plumber by HMS home warranty. Additionally, I go by this "office" location every day, and it's an empty lot - don't know why there are office hours for an empty shipping container on a fenced-in lot.I called the number supplies from my home warranty claim, and they scheduled me for Monday morning. Then the Saturday before, they called and said I needed to be scheduled. Wait... Wasn't I already scheduled? Monday morning, no call no show. I call again, speak to the scheduling department, get scheduled for Wednesday morning. Well, good thing it wasn't an urgent issue, I thought I'd use my home warranty since I have one. Wednesday morning arrives, we have a call from a plumber. We confirm to come on over. Nothing. We call back and he says he couldn't access the property and left, saying there was a gate chained shut over a drive. We live on a city street, street parking. No gates chained shut blocking your access. I confirm he's got the right address and he says he'll be right there. Several hours pass and the appointment window passes. I call the office, nobody picks up, no option for voicemail. I call the technician back, goes to voicemail. Call the office again, someone picks up. She says because I didn't answer the phone, the technician went to the next call and I'll be contacted later in the day. I explain how I was in contact and he had some wrong location and then never showed. When I ask why their address is an empty lot, she says they're building an office. I was fed up waiting and getting strung along so I asked HMS to reassign me. Looking at the other reviews I seem to have gotten off easy.
