E&W Sewer & Water Construction, Inc. Introduce
For homeowners and commercial property managers in Southeastern Wisconsin, plumbing challenges often extend beyond simple faucet repairs or drain clogs. When issues involve the underground infrastructure—specifically sewer and water laterals that connect your property to municipal systems—you need a contractor with specialized heavy equipment and extensive experience in excavation and utility installation. E&W Sewer & Water Construction, Inc., based in Big Bend, WI, is the dedicated professional for these complex, large-scale projects, serving the region for nearly 40 years.
Unlike traditional plumbers who focus on interior piping, E&W Sewer & Water Construction, Inc. operates at the foundational level, providing the critical services necessary to install, maintain, and repair the underground lifelines of a property. This includes the major infrastructure for both new residential and commercial construction, as well as the essential repair services needed when aging or damaged sewer and water lines fail. Their decades-long history and membership in the Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) demonstrate their deep roots in the Wisconsin construction industry and their commitment to professional building standards.
The company specializes in work that requires heavy machinery and excavation—the kind of work most general plumbers are not equipped to handle. This specific focus on 'Sewer and Water' and 'Underground Sewer' solutions makes them a vital resource for addressing severe utility issues that affect entire properties, such as a collapsed sewer line, a failed water lateral, or the required abandonment of an old well. This type of contracting demands not only technical plumbing skill but also proficiency in managing construction sites, soil mechanics, and local utility codes.
While the business generally receives appreciation for being a 'Great family owned company' with competitive prices and unparalleled service, it is crucial for local users to note the nature of excavation work. As with any contractor using heavy machinery on or near private property, occasional logistical issues can arise, as evidenced by a customer review regarding property damage near a job site. Prospective clients should communicate clearly about site access and boundaries before work begins. However, the company’s longevity and strong ties to the regional building community suggest a history of reliable service for the specialized nature of their core offerings.

E&W Sewer & Water Construction, Inc. Reviews
I am pretty upset with this company. They were doing the excavating for the plumbing of a new house across the street of where I live and one of their bulldozers hit our mailbox and broke two of the three doors off and cracked our post (not even 6 months old). When they were contacted, the crew denied any wrong doing even though the tracks from their bulldozer go right up to the mailbox (pictured). When I try to contact the company again, the phone just rings and the voicemail box is full (how convenient). They need to make things right and pay or fix the mailbox.
