★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Overpriced the workers are friendly and helpful but the company does not stand by their products and will attempt to charge you even if they make a mistake. I put lots of their equipment in my home and call them whenever I had an issue but the products don't last for the amount of investment you have to put in for their systems. I don't have a solution but I don't feel like I got my money's worth.
August 13 · JasonDan came out to check our water softener and water heater, both installed 2 years ago. He was professional and very patient in reviewing maintenance for each. He made recommendations for additional services we could benefit from. Totally satisfied with the service call today.
April 19 · Helen BoganThis company does not stand by product they say will take the iron out of your home. We started with them in 1999, we did the inside of our home and reverse osmosis. in 2016 invested 10k more to take iron out of our outside water. in 2020 tanks failed & in 2021 company said since these were to last 10 years we only use them middle may thru September, technically the wear on them is 24 months total over 5 years, The company said they would rebed them. we got 4 huge tanks for our water outside they said would take out the iron we have. After they failed & new/rebed ones got installed in 2021 they did not work, we still had iron. but before I go on the important part is I have a written email that states what we are getting replaced is better then what we had and will last 7-10 years. since the now new and better tanks have not worked they have came out in 22, then in 2023 called and said we still have rust, At the end of 2023 they were out September after we shut off our water and Jordan the service guy said if this does not work I dont know what will because they calibrated as much as he could go. I said, we wont know till 2024 when we turn water on. In 2024 when I sent pics showing we still have rust, & one tank is leaking , they now want a 100.00 service fee to come out. I said I dont feel I have to pay a service fee for a product that never worked correctly from day one that I was told is better than what I had and will last 7-10 years. I tried calling Kinectico corporate and the guy told me our tanks are CGC and have to deal with them. I then did a survey for them explaining this and a man named Thomas called right away to discuss my bad review. He said he would go to bat for me and completely agreed that this is not good service. Well he ended up getting them to come out for no service fee or charge but Jordan said I remember you guys and there is nothing more to do, He did replace the leak he said was at the valve and found another one. I then called Thomas back from CGC who had told me he would talk with Brandon the manager and Jordan to see what they can do for us AND CALL ME BACK AFTER HE SPOKE TO THEM. well, I must have called Thomas 5-6 times and no one called me back, I would leave a message for him, or speak to someone and was told he was busy? I finally called and spoke to Liz who said hold on and then came back to tell me Thomas was busy...hmmm? I said why wont he talk to me, and she was rude in the rest of the conversation to give me any information except we had to talk to Brandon. Well, so much for him to be the middle man to help us, since Brandon was not willing to do anything else. My husband then called Jordan and said we were upset and wanted a meeting with Brandon and Jordan at our home or at their office. Jordan called my husband back and said he was very sorry, and that we are good people but Brandon will not meet with us. So he is not standing by his product that...IS BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAD AND WILL LAST 7-10 YEARS BUT NEVER WORKED FROM DAY 1. I have no problem to pay a service fee if the product had worked for over a year on the warranty and then went bad, but when your product you put in did not perform from day 1, I would think the company is responsible to keep coming out until it is fixed and working as it should. I'm hearing that CGC and Kinectico is not what they use to be. This is very sad to be treated this way since being loyal to them from 1999 when we moved in till now and spending over 16k in their products. We also have had to replace our bladder 2 times and need a new one again, and at the time of the new tanks being put in we spent 6k for a new pump we needed in 2021. I dont think if I was told that every 5-6 years I would need to replace my equipment would I have bought into this at all for the money and it not doing what they claim, and now the way we are being treated after all the years of being a customer.
June 03 · michelle styranecThe lady on the phone acts to be sweet but doesn’t want the customer to speak. Not only she is mannerless but disrespectful. I ask her something but she will cross question me with a very strong tone. How are such people even be at front desk
July 16 · PreetTook water to have it tested for hardness as I was starting to see staining in my sinks & toilets. Guy at the counter did what I later found out was only a partial test and when my water stayed reddish in color he told me it was due to bacteria and our water was not safe for consumption. After a fear filled week of using nothing but bottled water for my family and pets I returned with more samples and learned what he did was part of a hardness test but he didn't put in enough drops of the second chemical to make it turn blue. It takes three days in a incubator to do a bacteria test. Also I had their service tech out and while very polite, it was all about trying to sell me a new 6k+ unit rather than possible solutions such as redoing the resin tanks. I will give them the fact that my softener was 30+ years old but after the bacteria thing I just had no trust with this company and found a solution elsewhere. Once biten, twice shy as the song goes!
