March 26 · Geraldine BlueDo not hire this company! I would have given a "no stars" rating if it was an option. So I say again, do not hire this company! That is, unless you are fine with having them "start" a 1 day job on a Friday but not actually starting to do any work until the following Friday, 1 week later. You will also have to be equally fine with them leaving cigarette butts all over your driveway. Even after they were politely asked not to do that but instead, throw them in a near by bucket, that is there specifically for that purpose. They insisted that they always do that but then they pick them up after the job is over with. To which I replied, "Well, if you please, don't do that, but instead, throw them in the bucket when you are finished smoking so I don't have to worry about picking them up later because you missed some of them." They agreed to respect my wishes and then continued to throw their butts on my driveway and stomp them out. And, this is after I had to say something to them 3 different times about them leaving our basement door open that leads out to the driveway. Because, not only is that letting out the air conditioning, but we have 2 cats that do not need to be getting out. And just like the butts, every time I asked them to please do this, they agreed and then continued to be obstinate. And, their attitude and responses to any questions or requests I had, got more caustic as the day wore on. I know nothing about plumbing so this is why we hired them to replace our old drainage stack. Everything appears to be right, but only time will tell I suppose. My only thoughts on that are, if they can't get the simple stuff right, (i.e. "Please close the door if you open it." And "Please throw your cigarette butts in the proper place when you finish smoking.") then how can they possibly get the more complex things right? So, unless you are fine with strangers coming into your home and ignoring your simple wishes/requests, and then getting more and more disrespectful each and every time you have to repeat those same wishes/requests to them because they are blatantly ignoring them, do not hire this company. They are a waste of money and time. There are plenty of plumbing companies out there that can get the job done just fine. I don't want to have to cut a $2,000+ check and then get attitude when I make a couple very simple and very common requests that anyone would ask. Not to mention the fact that it took them a week to actually get started working on a job that "started" a week before. Their reasoning for this was that they had "emergencies" come up. That is, plural emergencies. I can only assume what these emergencies were and why they came about. But I imagine that these emergencies could have possibly been them simply over booking themselves or, possibly other jobs that they did shotty work on that they had to go back and fix. Either way, I won't be hiring them again and I recommend you do the same.
