John was here to replace 8 light fixtures and some light switches. He was very efficient and got everything done quickly. We had one pendant light that hung down an inch too far and he was able to make adjustments to the piece and shorten the fixture. He even assisted us with some broken bulbs in the outdoor fixtures that we had not scheduled. Popejoy has always been our go to for any plumbing, heating and electrical work.

Popejoy has been phenomenal to work with. We originally had Tiger Services and they never took to time to look over our issues. It was always replace, replace, replace. We got second opinion by Popejoy and they did wonderful work and saved us thousands of dollars. We switched immediately and they are super friendly and very knowledgeable! Would highly recommend!!!

We had our kitchen faucet and bathroom sink faucet, shower/tub faucets replaced by Popejoy. They had to open up the wall to replace galvanized pipes and install new shower faucets. Their technicians are very knowledgeable, upfront and honest and the work performed was completed very efficiently and professionally. We are very happy with the work performed and definitely would recommend their services!!! 👍😎👍

Due to the numerous great reviews, I contacted Popejoy on 2/12 as my Water Heater was no longer working. Scheduled the appointment for 2/13. I had to work that day, but provided information to the tech to get in. The Technician spent approximately 9 minutes diagnosing the issue and left. He called to inform me that he reset the Safety Thermostat and the Water Heater was operational upon leaving. I arrived home that evening from work to discover I had no Hot Water. I called Popejoy informing them of the issue and was informed I'd have a Technician call me. Another Technician did call me back and informed me that he spoke with the Technician that performed my service and that he would have taken the same actions. I was informed with the age of the Water Heater it would be time for a replacement. I was informed they could come back that evening and replace for $3000.00 or get on the schedule for replacement for $2000.00. I chose to get a second opinion from another company, in which the owner looked at the Hot Water Heater. He informed me that I could make the repair myself, if I felt comfortable. He provided detailed instructions on how to complete the repair and the part that needed to be ordered. I installed a new burner assembly on 2/19 and have no further issues with the Water Heater. My total cost to repair $200.00. While my experience with Popejoy was neither positive nor negative, I just felt the technician maybe could have observed the reset of the Safety Thermostat a bit longer to see that it was an effective diagnosis or repair.
