★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Salesperson named Mark helped me find the parts I need. At first, he had explained that the stem I took was not the part I needed to stop the constant dripping. He said I needed to pull out the stem cartridges and suggested I pull it out with needle nose pliers. Couldn’t pull it out and then went back after reviewing some you tube. Apparently there is a hexagon nut that needed to be removed and loaned me the socket kit. I had to grind the tiles to get more opened to access it. Got late and I returned the socket because I didn’t finish grinding it out. Told me to keep it til Im done. Finally the hex nut removed and pulled the bad cartridge out and returned to get the correct one I needed. Before I did that, he had scanned his parts book to identify the diagram of which faucet I had. Next morning, got the tile opened and correct part installed. Now wife isn’t “bitchin” about the dripping. I highly recommend that you check this business when you need plumbing parts/issues.
October 02 · Paul BandliI called 5 Star for an $75 estimate to repair or replace the faucet on my jetted garden tub. Chris and Nate arrived on time and called me about 30 minutes before they arrived. When they arrived they politely introduced themselves and we got straight to business talking about what I needed them to do. After that conversation ended, I remembered that there were 2 other things that needed a plumbers wrench, and they were happy to listen and add that to the estimate. They were knowledgeable about their business and assured me that an estimate would be coming soon. My first impression is that I’m glad I reached out to 5 Star.
October 07 · Steven goodI love this place. It’s like a plumbing clinic. You go in as a patient, describe your problem, the extremely knowledgeable and attentive person behind the counter diagnoses it. He then offers you a variety of solutions based on your budget and concerns. Where can you get this personalized service these days? It’s an old school place that can be relied upon for excellent information, supplies and service. It represents a gold standard of business that we boomers long for these days.It sure beats walking into a massive box store and losing yourself in the aisles where if you ask for help, you’ll get someone who’s never had a leak or changed a toilet. It’s silly not to go to 5-star plumbing.
